Chocolate creme cookie truffles are an easy, no bake gluten free treat that no one can resist!
This post is part of a collaboration with Goodie Girl Cookies. All opinions are my own.
Cookie Truffles
I am a sucker for easy, no-bake desserts. Anytime I can avoid heating up my kitchen is a win! Cookie truffles are a classic treat. Cookies and cream cheese, mixed together to create a creamy center that is then dipped in chocolate.
Dessert doesn’t get much better. Perfect to make ahead for a yummy treat that’s ready whenever your sweet tooth cravings hit!
Chocolate Creme Cookies
Oreos are a cookie I have missed since going gluten free. The chocolatey cookie with the creme center was a childhood favorite. I loved opening them up and licking all the creme out. So good.
Thankfully, Goodie Girl has just come out with a new gluten free Chocolate Creme Cookie that reminds me of what an oreo tasted like. Possibly even better!
I had to hide them because my toddler and hubby kept eating them before I could finish my recipe!
They are available on the Goodie Girl site, Amazon (with Prime shipping!) and even some Starbucks.
Chocolate Creme Cookie Truffles
These gluten free cookie truffles are so easy to make (see the video above!). Traditionally an Oreo ball would contain just cream cheese and cookies, but I like to mix it up a bit.
To these, I added chocolate chips. You could also add chopped nuts, marshmallows, sprinkles- anything you can think of!
Personally, I like to pair the chocolate center with white chocolate, but feel free to use semi-sweet or dark.
After making these this week, I took a bunch to my neighbors. They were a hit!
You are going to love these gluten free cookie truffles!
Tell me- what is your favorite gluten free cookie? Have you tried the Goodie Girl new Chocolate Creme Cookies yet?
