Carrot Citrus White Wine Spritzer is the perfect holiday drink!

The Holidays
The holidays can be a lot of fun, but they can also be a bit stressful. Lot’s of family to see, trying to manage schedules, kids are out of school, gifts to buy. It can be easy to get all wrapped up in the stress of it all.
Last year I had several holiday meltdowns. The most memorable was when I ordered all of our Christmas cards and forgot to change the fake family name on them. Quite a few people got cards from “The Allens” instead of “The Kanashiros”. It’s kinda funny now, but when I realized what had happened (after I had given several out) you would have thought it was the end of the world with the number of tears I cried.
I have a few tips for you on getting through the season, without crocodile tears.
- Take care of yourself. Eat breakfast. Make healthy eating choices. Low blood sugar or spiked blood sugar aren’t going to do you any favors when things get stressful.
- When all else fails, have a drink. (Just one…maybe 2….to many and you won’t get anything done!)
The good news is I can help you with both of these things!
Telula
I recently discovered Telula. It is a cold-pressed, organic juice that is shelf-stable (that means you don’t have to refrigerate it till you open it!). It comes in quite a few different varieties- 10 to be exact. 6 are fruit and veggie blends, and four are chia seed blends. You can see them all on their website! Because all they yummy juice is cold-pressed (they don’t use any high-speed blades that could expose the fruit to heat) it is full of all kinds of nutrients.
This makes Telula perfect for everything from your morning breakfast juice or smoothie to a base for your favorite alcoholic beverage.
Telula is now available at Publix in South Florida! You can find it in the juice aisle. It’s also available at Whole Foods (on sale till the 15th!) and some Targets and Walmarts. Use the STORE LOCATOR to find it near you.
As a bonus, Coupons.com also has a $1.00 off coupon this month! You can stock up!
Citrus White Wine Spritzer
While Telula is great for the mornings (everyone in my family loves it, from my grandparents to my toddler!), it also makes a great base for a Holiday Drink. By combining fruits, white wine and a splash of sparkling water, you can take your favorite Telula flavor to the next level!
One of my favorite flavors of Telula is the Carrot Citrus. It is a bit sweet, but has some great additions, like tumeric. In addition to Celiac, I also have Fibromyalgia and tumeric is supposed to be great for this.
While the drink is simple to make, the flavors are great! I took it to our Gluten Free Support group and everyone loved it!
Non-Alcoholic Version
If you are serving to the kiddoes or prefer not to drink wine, you can replace the wine with no sugar added grape juice and it will still be delicious!
The Perfect Hostess Gift
This is combo is perfect for a hostess gift. A bottle of white wine, a bottle of Telula and some fresh fruit is a great gift. I even made this great recipe card you can print out and give with it! Just click and print!
