Crunchy, sweet and melts in your mouth- Crispy Green Freeze Dried Fruit is the ultimate snack.
This product spotlight was sponsored by Crispy Greens. As always all opinions are 100% my own and I only write about products I actually use and love.
Crispy Green
I first tried Crispy Green earlier this summer and I fell in love with the sweet, freeze dried fruit. It has become a staple in lunches, beach trips, any time we travel- we always grab a bag of Crispy Green freeze dried fruit.
They are ridiculously good. The freeze dried texture reminds me of when I used to buy “astronaut ice cream” at museums as a kid, only much better. It is crispy, yet almost melts in your mouth. I can easily go through multiple packages a day. I was taking them to camp all summer and the kids would beg me to share with them!
Now at Fresh Market
I was so excited when I found out they were going to begin carrying Crispy Greens at Fresh Market (you can also buy them online and at Milam’s in South Florida). I find myself at Fresh Market fairly often because they tend to have fun gluten free items, that I just can’t find anywhere else.
They come in big bags that contain 6 individual bags. The individual bags are great for a couple of reasons- 1) it keeps them fresh and 2) it keeps me from eating them all in one sitting.
At Fresh Market they sold for 7.99 for a 6 pack. There is also a coupon for 1.50 off that you can print from their website!
Something for Everyone
Crispy Green comes in 7 flavors:
- Apple
- Asian Pear
- Tangerine
- Pineapple
- Mango
- Cantelope
- Banana
Freeze drying fruit allows it to retain nutrients and gives it the crispy texture. All are non-gmo and have no added sugar. My two favorites are mango and cantaloupe. They are perfect for satisfying my sweet tooth, and they are healthy!
When I first saw the packaging I thought about hurricane supplies. How great is it to have all the nutrients of fruit in non-perishable form. The problem was, after I started eating it, I realized they would never make it through hurricane season. They are totally addictive. I’m not the only one who loves them. I took samples to the Gluten Free South Florida Support Group and people couldn’t stop raving about them!
If you are looking for the perfect, portable, healthy snack, you should try Crispy Green freeze dried fruit.
Be sure to head over to Crispy Green, check out their website and store finder to see where you can get them near you! If you have already tried them, let me know what you thought in the comments!

August 14, 2017 at 11:57 amThis looks like a great snack, I will have to look for them in my local stores. I limit my gluten intake so these would be perfect mini packs to take to work. How many calories are a serving?

August 14, 2017 at 10:07 amThese look great! I’m not gluten-free, but I’m excited about these because I need to start carrying healthy snacks around with me. I’m out of the house from like 8am to 10pm on weekdays, and I always find myself stopping at Subway or Chipotle and spending a ton of money. I gotta start meal-planning, and this looks like a good place to start!
