Easy Gluten Free Meals
Time is always a precious commodity around here. After a long day, the last thing I want to do it spend hours by the stove. Meals like this Gluten Free Beef Tips in Red Wine Sauce are perfect because they don’t require a lot of ingredients and it’s ready in under 30 minutes.
Add some quick gluten free garlic bread (or my Gluten Free Cheddar Bay Biscuits!), a few sides and dinner is served! Today I made some mashed potatoes to go along with Beef Tips in Red Wine Sauce, but I’ve done them with roasted potatoes, pasta, rice, and even just veggies. Just whatever I have on hand that is easiest at the moment.
Gluten Free Beef Tips in Red Wine Sauce
When I first got a package of Beef Tips in my Butcher Box (if you haven’t heard of Butcher Box you can read more about it HERE!), we made Seco de Res (Peruvian Beef Stew) and it was awesome, but then we got them again and I wanted to try something different.
I knew that beef tips need to braise for a bit, so I just kept it simple with some red wine and beef stock. The beef stock has a lot of flavor, but if you feel yours is a little lacking, you could always add a teaspoon of garlic powder and onion powder.
This dish is really easy to make, once it’s all in the pan, just stir occasionally and dinner will be ready! I found that with the Butcher Box beef tips, the meat was ready in 30 minutes, but you can always check a piece and make sure it’s tender. If not just give them another 5-10 minutes.
