Gluten Free Chocolate Banana Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are all the rage. You may have thought they were a 2018 trend, but they are still going strong. The variety of flavor combos makes them a favorite for everyone.

Personally, I tend to stick to the basics-bananas, yogurt, and a bit of chocolate. Top with some fruit and I’m good to go. This time I decided to up my game with some Goodie Girl Chocolate Chunk cookies. Cookies for breakfast is definitely a thing (need more inspiration? Smoothie Bowl Tips

It seems like such a simple thing- a smoothie bowl, and it is, but you may be wondering how to get all the toppings to sit on top.

To start with, I use frozen bananas as a thickener. Then, I make sure I slice all the fruits really thin. If they are to thick they just fall to the bottom.

When all else fails, you can also put it in the freezer for a bit before serving so that the top has time to harden a bit.

Smoothie Bowls are so much fun. Do you have any favorite smoothie bowl toppings?
