BackYard Dog Treats

Gluten Free Dog Treats from Backyard Dog TreatsI was recently introduced to BackYard Dog Treats and I have to tell you that I have been so impressed with the care they take in making wholesome treats for dogs. From the personalized touches such as names, to the whole food ingredients and beautiful packaging they are the perfect gift for anyone who had a special dog in their life.

A lot of people don’t consider the need for gluten free dog treats, but in the Celiac community, it is an actual need. The best way to ensure that there is no cross contamination is to maintain a completely gluten free household, and this includes pets.

The last thing you want is your dog licking you (it happens) or your celiac child getting into dog food (this happens too…toddlers have a way of getting into everything!).

A Hit with the Dogs!

Gluten Free Dog Treats from Backyard Dog TreatsI probably should have started with this. Yes, they are adorable treats. Back Yard Dog Treats have beautiful packaging. They have whole food ingredients like peanut butter, flax seed, and gluten free oat flour. But really, what is most important is that the dogs love them!

I will be honest, these are not my dogs. They are my sister in laws. She has the little one and the black lab. They both loved the treats and my sister in law loved how nicely they were packaged and was thrilled to see their names on them.

Tasha, the owner of BackYard Dog Treats has really put the time into making a quality product.

Who is getting BackYard Dog Treats for Christmas?

My husband’s Tia. She has an adorable dog, Keiko, who my daughter loves. (Don’t worry, she doesn’t read my blog because it is English, so the secret is safe!) Tia Lucy’s dog is like her child and she will be thrilled with a beautiful box of gluten free dog treats. I’m sure Keiko will love them too.

Such cute treats! I also have to trouble of cross contamination with dogs. It’s amazing how you forget that it can be dangerous if your dog eats an allergen then gives you a nice sloppy kiss.
