Wide Eyed Turkey Cupcakes
How cute are these? I mean really, you almost don’t even want to eat them they are so dang adorable. Of course, if you have kids (or just about anyone) they aren’t going to last long! These Thanksgiving cupcakes are so simple to make and perfect for even those who aren’t baking experts.
With their wide eyes and candy corn feathers, these gluten free Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcakes are just to fun.
Gluten Free Cupcakes
People often shy away from gluten free cupcakes, but if you don’t tell them, they won’t know. You can use a mix, or since you already have a box of Chocolate Creme Cookies, you can make these Chocolate Creme Cupcakes. They are so good!
The decorations are super simple to make, all you need is gluten free chocolate creme cookies, gluten free fudge striped cookies, gluten free candy corn, gluten free licorice or gluten free Swedish fish and brown M&M’s. Use whatever flavor cupcake you like and a can of gluten free chocolate frosting.
Steps to Making a Gluten Free Thanksgiving Turkey Cupcake
There are 3 parts to creating the Turkey Cupcake. First, you are going to make the eyes. You need two cookies for each cupcake. You will only use the side with the white part, so feel free to eat the other half.
The eyes and feather’s are glued on using the chocolate frosting.
Finding gluten free candy corn can be tricky. Yum Earth, Brach’s (only the one specifically labeled gluten free), and Jelly Belly make gluten free versions.
Once you have all your pieces ready, the Thanksgiving cupcakes are super quick to put together!
Thanksgiving Cupcakes
I am so in love with these gluten free turkey cupcakes. For the chocolate creme cookies and fudge stripe cookies I used Goodie Girl Cookies. They are one of my favorite gluten free cookie brands and they are also made in a dedicated peanut free facility. You can find them in various stores or order them through Amazon.
