Yummy Gluten Free Fruit Dip
I don’t know about you but I love dips all of kinds; hummus, tzatziki, my curried mango yogurt dipBut I also love sweet dips! There is something so fun about serving fruit and dip for dessert, and it’s such an easy party food.
Protein packed #glutenfree fruit dip you won't feel guilty about eating! Share on XMost dessert dips are filled with sugar (as are most desserts, let’s be real.) But, I decided to make a healthier one. When I’m eating fresh fruit I don’t want to ruin all that natural flavor with processed sugar. Since I was already getting rid of the sugar, I thought I might as well add some protein as well!
The Secret Ingredients!
To get all protein in this tasty dip I used a combination of cottage cheese and protein powder. My favorite protein powder is the Rainbow Light brand. I used their vanilla powder, it’s got a great custardy flavor but without any added sugar. You could definitely use another brand, just make sure it’s a low sugar option so the dip stays healthy.
The creamy vanilla flavor of this dip pairs with so many things. I love to dip berries in it, particularly strawberries. It gives you an that comforting strawberries and cream flavor. You can also use this fruit dip to drizzle on baked goods like coffee cake and cinnamon rolls. Or you can just lick it right off the spoon, you really can’t go wrong!
Thanks Cricket for this awesome recipe!

June 21, 2016 at 9:24 amI have used cottage cheese in dips before, but never in a fruit dip. It’s very intriguing and definitely a win for being healthy. There has to be quite a bit of protein in this, which is awesome! Thank you for sharing.
