I L-O-V-E pizza. It’s one of my comfort foods. I have fond memories of going out with my family to the local pizza shop and ordering a huge pizza with salad for all to share.
Since my Celiac diagnoses, I haven’t spent much time at pizza places, but we love to have pizza nights at home, and Freschetta gluten free cheese pizza has found it’s place at our table. I love Freschetta’s gluten free cheese pizza because, on top of being certified gluten free from the National Celiac Association, it just tastes great. Everyone in my family loves it, no one feels left out when we have this pizza for dinner. We tend to always have cheese pizza because my toddler will only eat cheese, but it’s the perfect base to add all your fave toppings. It’s easy to find at your local Publix! Through the end of the month you can save $1.50 on Freschetta Gluten Free Pizza at Publix!
Plus, since I am feeding it to my children, I love that it’s made with fresh ingredients and no preservatives.
Homemade Red Wine Vinaigrette.
Pizza and a salad are the classic combo and this easy, homemade red wine vinaigrette is my favorite. My mother in law always makes this dressing and it is just so good. The ingredients are simple- red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper and the secret ingredient- sliced garlic. Not, minced, not diced, but sliced so it flavors the red wine vinaigrette, but you don’t have chunks of it on your salad.
Best part is, you can prep this red wine vinaigrette and make the salad in the time it takes you to bake the pizza! Freschetta gluten free pizza is baked right on the rack so you don’t even need a special pizza pan!
Little tip- dip a bit of your pizza in it. Trust me, you will be thanking me later!
Just because you have dietary restrictions, like with Celiac Disease, doesn’t mean you have to get left out of pizza night! With fresh mozzarella cheese and sauce made with vine ripened tomatoes, Freschetta gluten free pizza doesn’t disappoint. It’s good pizza, that just happens to be gluten free.
All the ingredients for this meal can be picked up at your local Publix! Don’t forget to get your $1.50 off coupon, good through May 29! Your gluten free pizzeria night experience with pizza, salad with easy, homemade vinaigrette will be ready in no time!
Of course, if you want to add a cheesy bread side, you have to try this pull apart cheesy bread!
