Top 10 Gluten Free Recipes
This has been such an exciting year. I have learned so much in my gluten free journey and it has been so exciting to share it with My Gluten Free Miami readers.
If you have been around for any length of time you know that you don’t need to live in Miami to hang out on this blog. Just like Miami, it is a melting pot for recipes from all over the globe, as well as information and reviews.
This year 10 recipes really stood out among readers, they are some of my favorites and I’m sure you will find a favorite in here as well!
Number 1: Gluten Free Chicken Piccata with Lemon and Capers
Hands down my families favorite recipe. This Chicken Piccata is so good, if my husband has the choice between a nice restaurant and eating this at home, he will choose the Chicken Piccata. Every. Single. Time. Plus, it is super easy!
Number 2: Louisiana Style Red Beans and Rice
Since I first posted this, so many of my friends have tried it and love it just as much as we do. Plus, it’s a one pot dish! One pot = minimal clean up! The flavors in it are amazing and it makes great leftovers.
Number 3: Gluten Free Mexican Dessert Torte
This Mexican Dessert Torte is really unique, and though I love it, I will admit I was a bit surprised when it was in the Top 10. I guess different is good!
Number 4: Gluten Free Cheddar Bay Biscuits
It doesn’t get much better than these Copy Cat Cheddar Bay Biscuits. I used to make them all the time before I was gluten free and am thrilled at how easy they were to convert to gf. Everyone who tries them, gluten free or not, loves them. You will not regret making them!
Number 5: Tiramisu Gluten Free Truffles
These truffles contain all the flavors you love in bite-sized balls. Cookies, chocolate, espresso….be careful, they are addicting!
Number 6: Stuffed Acorn Squash
This dish is definitely on the healthier side, but it has fantastic flavor and can easily be made for one, two, or a crowd!
Number 7: Gluten Free Banana Bread with Cinnamon Streusel
I love banana bread, but I love crunchy toppings even more. This bread is so good, no one every knows it is gluten free. Super simple and no complex ingredients, it is banana bread the way it should be.
Number 8: Penne with Spicy Vodka Sauce
This dish was originally a restaurant copycat dish. One of those meals you have out, that you come home saying that you could make it better, and then you do. Totally not complicated and will definitely impress!
Number 9: Easy Gluten Free Breakfast Bars with Peanut Butter and Oatmeal
These breakfast bars are on the healthy side. With dried fruit and hidden bananas, you won’t feel guilty about having one of these in the morning!
Number 10: Mini No Bake Lemon Pies
I know these are number 10 in the countdown, but this recipe has only been up for a month and it already has surpassed many others. It is a must try! I could eat these crunchy, creamy lemony bites all day!
