No gluten free bagel is complete without a schmear of cream cheese. Whipped Maple Cinnamon Cream Cheese will make your gluten free bagel sing with a bit of sweetness and spice.
Whipped Maple Cinnamon Cream Cheese
Not that long ago I made Easy No Bake, Maple Apple Cheesecake Parfaits and they were so good, especially the cheesecake filling. It got me thinking.
I love flavored cream cheese (check out this dill one on these turkey roll ups!), but I usually stick to savory ones with salmon or herbs. It is definitely time to try something new!
With fall in the air, I thought that the maple flavor from the cheesecake would be perfect on a gluten free bagel. I was 100% correct. It is to die for!
Budget Friendly
You can buy whipped cream cheese, but why would you do that when homemade whipped cream cheese is so easy to make? It’s budget friendly and you control the ingredients.
Maybe you are a cinnamon fan and want to double the cinnamon- go for it. Maybe a little less maple syrup for you- no problem. You control what goes into it. Feel free to make little adjustments as you see fit.
This Whipped Maple Cinnamon Cream Cheese takes just moments to put together. The hardest thing is choosing which brand gluten free bagel to buy!
My favorite are the Canyon Bakehouse Bagels that you buy in the freezer section. Second favorite are Trader Joes, but I know there are a lot of great brands I haven’t tried yet.
If you are up for trying to make your own, I’d recommend trying this Gluten Free Bagel Recipe from GF Jules.
