Banana Foster Sauce

butter
2/3
cup
brown sugar

vanilla

slightly green bananas
sliced

rum or bourbon
gluten free

Instructions
Gluten Free Waffles
Beat together gluten free flour, salt, and baking powder.
In separate bowl beat together melted butter, vanilla and 1 1/2 cups milk. Add eggs and beat together.
Pour egg and milk mixture over dry ingredients and stir until combined. If mixture is to dry, add in remain 1/4 cup milk.
Cook on heated waffle iron, according to waffle iron directions.
Banana Foster Sauce
Melt together butter, brown sugar and vanilla over medium low heat.
Add bananas and cook, stirring frequently.
Gently remove bananas and set aside.
Remove pan from heat.
Stir in rum.
Stir in cream.
Cook over medium low heat until sauce coats the back of a spoon (3-4 minutes)
Add bananas.
Serve over waffles (or ice cream or french toast)
