Homemade, Oven Baked Garlic Butter Gluten Free Croutons
Gluten free garlic and butter croutons are a snap to make in the oven and delicious on soups or salads. The perfect use of left over gluten free bread.

- 5 slices gluten free bread I used Schar Deli Sliced Sourdough
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- 4 TBSP butter
- 4 cloves garlic smashed
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Preheat oven to 300.
In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add olive oil and garlic.
Simmer butter, olive oil and garlic mixture for 20 minutes.
Add in onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Cube bread.
Toss bread with butter mixture and place on a foil lined baking sheet.
Bake, tossing occasionally, for 20 minutes or until well toasted.
Use to top soups or salads.
Parmesan or herbs can be added to vary flavor.
