Frontier Bites
There is a new gluten free product hitting the shelves of Publix in Miami and I am so excited! While Frontier Bites have been around for a few years, those of us who are living all the way down in South Florida haven’t been able to just run to Publix and pick them up. Sure, I guess you could get them from Whole Foods, but how often do most of us visit Whole Foods?
I swear I am at Publix every other day!
I am so excited that they are finally getting their game together in the gluten free realm and providing us with delicious, gluten free snacks that aren’t filled with all kinds of junky preservatives. Now, I’m not going to say I don’t enjoy a really good cookie here or there, but I like to have healthy options.
Bite Sized Goodness
As I sit here writing this, I can’t help but keep popping these bites in my mouth. So tasty. Just the right amount of sweetness, with just the right amount of crunch. These Frontier Bites are totally addicting. I may finish the entire bag of before this post is done. I’m not going to feel guilty about this- they are are only 100 calories a serving, they have protein, iron, calcium…I mean, it would only be the right thing to do to eat all of them!
Frontier Bites come in three distinctive flavors and are made with only 8 simple ingredients. No preservatives, not additives, just wholesome goodness that you can find in the gluten free section of your nearest Publix.
I dare you to eat just one Frontier Bite! Hightail it to Publix and pick up a bag today! Share on XThree Flavors
While I’m sitting here munching away on the Almond, Blueberry, Lemon bites, it’s only fair for me to give you some info about all the flavors you can now find at Publix in Miami.
Almond Blueberry Lemon
I knew right of the bat that these were going to be a favorite. I love anything lemon, my husband loves almonds, and the baby loves blueberries. It’s like they wrapped up my little families favorite things into one bite sized treat. These are definitely my favorite. Everyone liked them, though they do have a bit of strong lemon taste, so if you don’t like lemon these aren’t for you. Β The very first ingredient in these is almonds, so you know they didn’t skimp on the good stuff. Along with sunflower seeds, brown rice syrup, honey, millet, and brown rice, you have a delectable little treat that has just a touch of sweetness.
Pecan Cherry Cinnamon
It is what is says it is. A bite of pecans, cherries and cinnamon in every mouthful. The slight tartness of the cherries and the sweetness from the honey will have you reaching for another handful. Even though I thought my hubbies favorite would be the Almond Blueberry, these were the winner with him. He liked that he could really taste the cherries. With simple ingredients, you just can’t go wrong. I really want to crumble these on top of some yogurt for a perfect parfait!
Macadamia Pineapple Coconut
Am I sitting on an island in the Bahamas? Nope, I’m just sitting here eating some Macadamia Pineapple Coconut Frontier Bites while watching a screensaver of the beach, but the pineapple coconut flavor definitely transports! Now I know often Pineapple can be a bit over powering and have a “too sweet” taste. The hint of Pineapple and Coconut is just the right amount. Not to strong, just right. I’m gonna be honest with you. I just ate a whole bag of these while I was writing this….ooops.
If you haven’t tried Frontier Bites head to Publix now and grab a bag. You are going to love them! Certified gluten free and non-gmo, they are the perfect on the go snack.
