Makeup Love Affair
I love makeup. I always have. One of my mom’s favorite stories to tell about me took place when I was about two. Apparently, I had gotten into her makeup up and spilled powder all over the place. When she came in and saw me, she asked if I had been playing in the makeup. I, of course, said no, to which she replied, “Amanda Jane makeup does not spill on its own.” To which my smart mouth replied, “Your powder does!” From what I’ve heard things didn’t go so well for me after that :).
The problem with makeup, since being diagnosed with Celiac Disease, is that the ingredients are always so complicated. For items like lipstick and lip balm they have to be 100% gluten free, but honestly, I want everything 100% gluten free. I don’t like to risk cross contamination, or if you have a celiac child, do you really want to kiss them with something that could make them sick? Don’t even get me started on the number of stories I’ve heard where a child has tried to take a bite out of lip balm or lipstick!
Kiss Freely
All of these are reasons why Jennifer Kurko created Kiss Freely products. She wanted products that wouldn’t cause issues for her child with allergies. On top of being safe for Celiacs, all of Kiss Freely’s products (lipstick, lip balms, lotion, sugar scrubs, foundation, blush, kids face paint, and more!) are all top 8 free and the are also free of sesame, shea butter, peas, coconut, avocado and sunflower seed.
The Products
I received 3 sets of products to try out.
Lipsticks
I am in love with these lipsticks. The colors are great (I was a little nervous about the pink, but it is really pretty) and the don’t come off easily, which my husband loves. He hates when he ends up wearing my lipstick! Of the three, my favorite is the sugar plum.
Lip Balm Bundle
These lip balms are great. I first tried them at a Food Allergy Bloggers Conference and they quickly became a favorite. I always have one in my purse. They make your lips very soft, without being greasy.
Winter Bundle
The winter bundle is perfect for the season. The sugar scrub smells amazing and makes your hands so smooth. The body butter is probably the best I have ever used. It keeps your hands soft for hours. Plus, they throw in a fun glittery eye shadow!
Who Am I Giving Kiss Freely Products to for Christmas?
Can I just give them to myself? I was so in love with the lipsticks and lotions that I received that I actually went ahead and ordered a foundation and a blush. They will be here tomorrow and I cannot wait to try them out! There is one other person in my life who has been dealing with lots of allergy issues, they will be getting some Kiss Freely products as well, but since they read my blog, I’m gonna have to keep it on the down low!
In addition to the awesome giveaway (where you can win a Winter Bundle AND a $10.00 gift certificate!), I also have a great coupon code for 20%. These products are perfect for teachers, neighbors, anyone who you need to give a gift to this holiday season. Be sure to follow me on Instagram to see a great little teacher gift with the lip balms!

December 3, 2016 at 12:05 amI’ll have to check this out as my last sugar scrub changed and I’m not a fan. I’m not a lipstick girl but I don’t like them chapped or sticky just soft, neutral colored, and natural.
