Campfire Dessert Bags
Have you seen the walking taco? If not, let me give you a quick run down. Basically, you take a bag of your favorite chips, crush them up a bit, and add in all your favorite taco toppings and hit the road. When you’re done, the whole things goes in the trash. No extra plate needed, just eat it straight out of the bag. It’s a great idea, and I do love tacos, but it got be thinking- why can’t I make a walking cookie bag?
I adore the Goodie Girl Chocolate Chunk cookies and the go packs are my family’s favorite. Even my non gluten free family members are hooked. It only seemed appropriate that I use them for the perfect walking campfire dessert bag!
Check out how I did it in this video!
You can’t beat a dessert of cookies, roasted marshmallows, m&m’s, whip cream and chocolate sauce!
Variations
The possibilities with this dessert bag are endless! I love roasted marshmallows, so I feel like they are a must, but I also tried a “Dirt Bag” with the Midnight Brownie Cookies and it was awesome. If you remember we made “Dirt Cups” HERE. So much fun for the kids and they are perfect for a camp out. Who doesn’t want a few gummy worms in their dessert!
No campfire is complete without these fun DYI campfire dessert bags. The skies the limit with combinations! If you haven’t tried Goodie Girls Go Packs yet, they are 15% off in the month of July, with free shipping. They are also perfect for back to school! If you are looking for gluten free and peanut free treats, you can’t go wrong with these cookies!
What would you put in your walking Campfire Dessert Bag? Let me know in the comments!
