Put an Egg on it
My daughter has this little toy oven that sings over and over, “Put an egg on it, yeah yeah, put an egg on it!” She plays with it so much that the song is forever tattooed on my brain.
They do have a point, though- things are always yummier when you put an egg on them! One of my husband’s favorite quick meals is rice and tuna, topped with an egg. He will put an egg on anything.
These past few weeks eggs have been 99 cents a dozen at Trader Joe’s. Yes, that’s right, I said 99 cents. Even the organic eggs are only a couple of dollars, perfect for our tight food budget. I needed a bunch of ideas, so of course, I turned to my food blogger friends. There are so many options; I’m sure you’ll find an egg recipe that you love!
