Banana Split
Nothing says ice cream party like banana splits. Ice cream, chocolate sauce, peanuts and a cherry on top- and a dollop of whipped cream! It’s the perfect dessert. No one can refuse a banana split.
What better way to enjoy a banana split then turning it into a smoothie that’s even pretty healthy! This smoothie makes the perfect afternoon pick me up.
Fudge Swirl
I am loving the new Perfectly Free Pints. In case you missed the ice cream sandwiches I made with them- stop right now, and go take a look- HERE! They are so good.
The pints come in 3 flavors- Fudge Swirl, Caramel Cafe, and Strawberry Sundae. Couple all this with the frozen bites that and it is one delicious lineup!
The fudge swirl is perfect for banana splits and is great for this smoothie. Perfectly Free Fudge Swirl has 220 calories per serving. For these smoothies, a half serving was used. The fudge has such a great flavor it really shines through. Plus, topping it with a cherry frozen bite makes it perfect!
Banana Split Smoothie
Smoothies are so easy to make and perfect for busy people. I love this one because the ingredients are so simple and it is really reminiscent of a banana split.
Recipe Notes
Bananas- I like to use one frozen (we always have a bunch in our freezer), because it keeps it cold and thick, without having to use ice.
Sun Butter– Peanut butter or almond butter would also work well for this. I used sun butter to keep it allergy friendly.
Coconut Whip– Adding coconut whip cream will increase the calorie count on this, but it is really yummy so I like to add a bit.
I know you are going to love this banana split smoothie. It’s such a great way to get that afternoon pick me up.

August 21, 2017 at 7:50 pmNow this is my kind of dessert smoothie! I love how you used a fresh banana rather than milk beverage to help it blend without watering it down!
