Gluten Free Cookie Monster Fudge

Two ingredient fudge isn’t a secret recipe, it’s an easy combo of white chocolate and sweetened condensed milk, combined to make the easiest fudge ever.

But when you add some blue food coloring and cookies, it becomes something spectacular. I already have plans to make this Gluten Free Cookie Monster Fudge for my baby’s first birthday party. I’m definitely leaning towards a Sesame Street theme. It’s also perfect for Halloween (you can even make a spooky version by adding in some extra googly eyes!

How to Make Gluten Free Cookie Monster Fudge

One would think that melting white chocolate and mixing it with sweetened condensed milk would be simple, but it is not quite as easy as you think.

  • You need 16 ounces (about 3 cups of white chocolate chips) and one can of sweetened condensed milk. I used Goya brand sweetened condensed milk. I tried it with Target brand and the fudge did not firm up correctly.

  • Do not add food coloring to the white chocolate, It will seize (get hard) on you. Add it to the sweetened condensed milk. You can use your favorite brand of gluten free food coloring. Watkins and Color Garden are both gluten free, and there are many others.
  • Mix them together quickly. It will start to set up and make it difficult to stir.
  • Grease your pan. I once forgot to grease and it stuck really badly. I like to use parchment paper (lightly greased) so it is easy to get out of the pan.

  • Lastly, add the eyes around the chocolate creme cookies and break up the chocolate chip. If you add them to the chocolate chip, it will make you gluten free cookie monster fudge look like gluten free monster fudge. Still cute, but not the look we are going for!
