Gluten Free Pizza Pocket Sandwich- everything you love about pizza in a quick, easy to make sandwich.

Uncrustable Sandwiches
Remember when we made an uncrustable PB & J sandwich? They were a huge hit with the kiddos and adults alike. We’ve taken it up another notch with this pizza pocket sandwich.
Easy to make and perfect for when you have a pizza craving, but don’t have access to a gluten free pizza!
Three Baker’s Large Slice Gluten Free Bread
I love this bread. It’s soft and it’s the same size as non gluten free bread, which is essential in creating sandwiches like these Pizza Pocket sandwiches.
I personally haven’t found it in stores, but I order it online. It freezes really well so it will last. It’s so great because everyone in my family (even my non gluten free kidos) eats it and likes it.
Gluten Free Pizza Pocket Sandwich
These are super simple to make. Start with filling with your favorite pizza toppings (we went with the classic- pepperoni and cheese)
The trick to keep these sandwiches crusty is to add the pizza sauce between the cheese and the pepperoni so that it doesn’t sit on the bread.
Once they are filled and sealed, dip them in butter and garlic powder to give it a garlicky bread out exterior. So good.
I chose to bake in the oven, but feel free to cook in a pan if you prefer!
Enjoy!
