Gluten Free Pizza Doesn’t Get Any Easier
It should be no secret that I love gluten free pizza. At any given time there are several frozen in my freezer, but sometimes you want to make your own. There’s nothing more fun than a make you own pizza night where everyone gets to choose their own toppings.
Just Add Toppings
Schar’s shelf stable pizza crust are perfect for pizza nights. They come two to a pack and are shelf stable. Plus, they aren’t very expensive and you can buy them at Walmart or online on Amazon.
They taste great and only take about 10 minutes to cook. My 4 year old had such a great time making her own. We made a quick and easy tomato sauce (it’s also great for these Air Fryer Mozzarella Sticks!).
I love, love, love this recipe for homemade marinara. It takes just minutes to put together and tastes so good. It’s one of those recipes you want to keep on hand for when you need a last minute sauce because you probably already have all the ingredients on hand!
It’s also the perfect complement to the Schar pizza crust. These crusts are actually a bit thicker to ordinary gluten free crusts, so they hold up really well.
Putting these pizza’s together was so easy, my 4 year old could do everything except put it in the oven! She was so excited, she kept trying to grab pieces while I was taking pictures.

Easy Tomato Sauce
Easy, homemade tomato sauce- just a few ingredients and this tomato sauce is perfect for pizza, dipping and perfect for freezing to always have on hand!
- 1 15 ounce can plain gluten free tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons chopped garlic (2 cloves)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- Heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and saute for one minute.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer for 4 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
