Easy, gluten free cookie pops are the ultimate semi-homemade treat. Gluten free oreo style cookies dipped in creamy white chocolate then decorated for the perfect edible gift!
This post is part of a collaboration between Goodie Girl Cookies and My Gluten Free Miami. All opinions are my own.
Semi-Homemade
Years ago there was a show on Food Network called Semi-Homemade. I loved this show, because honestly, I just don’t always have time to do things from scratch.
Just because I’m limited on time, that doesn’t mean I don’t want fun and festive treats to give to friends and family. Herein lies these easy gluten free cookie pops.
Gluten Free Chocolate Creme Cookies
The easiest way to make gluten free cookie pops is with a chocolate creme cookie (basically what we all know as an oreo). Who doesn’t love an oreo? Chocolate cookie with creme inside.
I love the inside. I was always the kid who would open them up, lick out the creme and then put them back. These new Goodie Girl Chocolate Creme Cookies are amazing. My husband (who can eat gluten) says they taste just like an oreo. Last month I made truffles out of them. You can see that recipe HERE.
Today, I’m dipping these beauties in chocolate for gluten free cookie pops!
How to make Gluten Free Cookie Pops
These cookie pops are so easy to make!
Step 1: Melt chocolate.
Step 2: Open the cookie, resist the urge to lick out all the creme in the middle.
Step 3: Dip a popsicle stick in chocolate.
Step 4: Press the stick into the creme and then close the cookie.
Step 5: Carefully dip or spoon chocolate over the cookie. You may get chocolate on your fingers. Do not lick your fingers, it’s tempting, but your friends will not be happy with you if you do this. The idea is to give some of these away :).
Step 6: Place on parchment paper to harden.
Step 7: Decorate if you like.
Step 8: Give to friends, families, neighbors or the random person you met on the street. Everyone will love them!
Final Notes
It’s that simple. I made these for Valentine’s Day- If you want more Valentine’s Day ideas, you can check them out HERE!
The newest Goodie Girl Cookie- Chocolate Creme is so versatile. Oreo Truffles, Cookie Pops, cookies and milk, cookies and coffee (you can buy them at Starbucks!), cookies for snacks at school (they are made in a peanut free facility!), the sky is the limit!
You are going to love Goodie Girl’s newest cookie. They can be ordered on their website.
Question of the day: How do you like to eat a chocolate creme cookie?
