Gluten Free Chicken Parmesan

Making a gluten free chicken parmesan is really easy. You literally make it just like a non gluten free version, but with gluten free ingredients. So simple right? Of course, there is good chicken parm and great chicken parm.

For this Gluten Free Chicken Parmesan Sandwich you want great chicken parm! It is so simple to do.

How do you make a great Chicken Parm? It’s all about the seasoning. You want to season every step of the way. Salt and pepper your chicken, season your gluten free flour and season your bread crumbs (either buy already seasoned or season your own by adding, salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning). I love to use grated parmesan mixed into the bread crumbs to give it that extra flavor!

Once it is breaded the chicken can be fried, but I like to bake it on a cooling rack. It bakes quickly and stays really crispy. Once it is ready, top it with marinara sauce (like this one!) and mozzarella cheese, broil it and it is ready for a sandwich.

Schar Gluten Free Ciabatta Bread

I have been a long time lover of Schar’s gluten free products. Ever since I first discovered the table crackers and used them in my Huaincaina Sauce, I have been purchasing their products.

The gluten free ciabatta bread is one of our favorites and is perfect for this gluten free chicken parmesan sandwich.

Perfect Gluten Free Garlic Bread

I like to start with a blend of olive oil, butter, garlic and Italian seasoning. Put it in the microwave for about 30 seconds to melt the butter.

Spoon it over the bread and broil till it starts to get brown around the edges. It is that simple.

Once it is done, just layer on the gluten free chicken parmesan. You could also add some fresh basil, but unfortunately, my husband is allergic so we avoid it.

Thanks for pointing it out…It’s actually in the bread crumb mixture and I forgot to put it in the instructions. I’m so sorry for the confusion. Feel free to add extra on top of the mozzarella or, it is even great on the garlic bread!
